Gaza Strip continue, latest airstrikes killing at least 69 more Palestinians
Israeli atrocities in the besieged Gaza Strip continue unabated, with the latest airstrikes killing at least 69 more Palestinians. This brings the total death toll in Gaza to 61,499.
According to a report by Anadolu Agency on Monday (August 11), Israeli air raids throughout the day left at least 69 people dead and 362 injured.
Over the nearly two years of ongoing Israeli aggression, a total of 153,575 Palestinians have been injured. The Palestinian Ministry of Health stated that these figures only include those who could be brought to hospitals, while many bodies remain trapped under rubble or lying in the streets, yet to be recovered.
The ministry blamed the lack of rescue equipment and the ongoing bombardment for the situation, warning that the actual casualty numbers could be much higher. Since the start of the offensive, 222 people — including 101 children — have died from starvation and malnutrition. On Monday alone, five more people, including one child, succumbed to hunger-related causes.
Last November, the International Criminal Court (ICC) issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant on charges of war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza. At the same time, Israel faced a genocide case at the International Court of Justice (ICJ). Despite these proceedings, the aggression has not ceased — instead, it has sparked a wave of condemnation across the globe.
